Family collage 2014Hi my name is Caroline. This is where I celebrate life – living it and loving it with my best friend and our four amazing children.

I am the mother to two boys aged 10 and 19 and two girls aged 16 and 22, and the wife of an incredible man. I was born in South Africa and lived there for most of my life. In 2002 we Immigrated to New Zealand where we lived for seven years before getting wanderlust again. We now live in Melbourne Australia. I love to be at home pottering around and working on some task or project. I am my happiest when I am writing – blogs or books and doing anything creative –  painting, cooking, photography and music being some of my favourite past times.I am a thrift store/ ebay junkie and I love finding a bargain and making it work for me. My home is full of bargain finds.  I love chocolate ( especially mint chocolate) and coffee too much. My favourite way to relax is to be with my family, reading or socializing with friends. I love people and wish to make a difference in this world – in any and every way that I can.We are currently Foster Carers to two boys aged 5 years and 2 years old.
