House Update

Just a quick update about the houses we looked at yesterday. The first house did not appeal to us at all. There was very little garden space for the kids to play which is not ideal. The second house we looked at we loved instantly. M15 walked in the door and said’ “This feels homely and nice. It is a large house with very spacious rooms. It has a big kitchen and a huge laundry. The floors in the living areas are wood which I love – it makes cleaning easier too. There are four bedrooms that have built in cupboards – a luxury after NZ cupboards!!! It has a number of features that would be on the wish list of my dream home. It has  a verandah out front and off the master bedroom. It has beautiful moulded ceilings, roses in the large garden and cottage pane sash windows. It is an older home and needs a little bit of TLC but that doesn’t faze us at all. The only negative of the place is that there is a unit attached to the house at the front that is rented out to a single guy. He does not have the garden use but only  the front section of the property which is fenced off from us  and so we probably will never see him anyway. In some ways I feel a bit more secure having a man on the property while hubby will be working in NZ these next two months. This house caught my attention over the internet before we even came and so we are really hoping it will come through for us. The property manager phoned me this afternoon to let me know that she has been unable to get the owner on the phone but that she has submitted our application so please pray for favour for us as this house  is in the right  school zone for all the kids.

I will post photos of the house once it has been confirmed.
